Hi there! I’m MΔRK MΔRROC, a Brazilian photographer based in Washington, DC.
For over a year, NFT has been a part of my life, where I’ve been able to establish myself among fellow artists and the community.
My main collections are currently available on OpenSea and Foundation, with other experimental works available on Tezos.
I don’t stick to one style of photography because my focus deficit forces me to branch out.
My process varies depending on the style I’m working with, but it essentially entails walking around looking for a good location with good energy, setting up my equipment, and capturing the shots. When shooting at night or in infrared, I use long exposure settings, which allow me to look around and enjoy the moment while the shutter works. I also enjoy post-production because it allows me to relive the experience I had in the field while working on the piece.
Once a friend asked me "How you describe your artistic work without showing it? As a result, as an artist, I’ve come up with the following motto:
“I look and point to things, people and scenes. I click buttons to freeze unique moments in time.
I can compress several seconds in a single moment.
I can show you the colors of the day, the night, and even the invisible light.
Or just no colors at all, in plain Black and White.I hope my photos can bring you joy, awe and inspiration”
